Scottish Independence and the banking crisis
Posted by rossgarvey662402008
I was wondering this afternoon with all the talk of independence for Scotland and how we will divide up all the various country assets depending on history etc what we are going to do about the banks. If you remember correctly the biggest failure in history was the Royal Bank of Scotland and it was the Bank of Scotland that had to be gobbled up by Lloyds on the instruction of a Scottish Prime Minister.
I am not expressing an opinion here one way or the other just that the banking crisis could be called a Scottish Banking crisis.
The one opinion I will express is that with all the other issues that are facing everyone its a bit self indulgent to be considering this at this time.
